New Human Body Society is the creative engine for choreographer and director Charlotte Triebus. Bringing together dance, artistic research and technological experimentation, we explore agency, queer relations and how bodies and technologies shape one another.
An Eye for the Subtle
The New Human Body Society is an artistic framework founded by Charlotte Triebus for long-term work across dance, text, and technological experimentation. It brings together choreography, critical AI theory, and XR practice to ask how classification systems, legibility, and non-human actors shape the body. The Society works as both a producing structure and a research practice, gathering a recurring ensemble of dancers and a close circle of collaborators in composition, costume, and light. Its stage works – among them Precious Camouflage, Cosmic Noise, and Halt and Catch Fire – are developed in close exchange with the MIREVI Lab at Hochschule Düsseldorf, where the technological and volumetric dimensions of the work take shape.
